Software for Limulus HPC Systems
The following list of basic HPC cluster RPMS are included in the Limulus Computing software stack. All software is open source (SRPMS available). The base distribution is built on CentOS 7 and OpenHPC. All Limulus specific packages are available through the Limulus Computing repository.
The entire suite of libraries, tools, and utilities has been integrated using the Modules package. Further information and

- Rocky Linux V9 - RHEL work alike distribution
- OpenHPC V 3.0 - Base cluster tool-set that includes some of the following
- Warewulf Cluster Toolkit - Cluster provisioning and administration (V3.6)
- PDSH - Parallel Distributed Shell for collective administration
- Whatsup - A cluster node up/down detection utility
- SLURM Scheduler - Job Resource Scheduler
- Ganglia - Cluster monitoring system
- MPICH2 - MPI library (message passing middleware)
- OPEN-MPI - MPI library (message passing middleware)
- GNU Compilers (gcc, g++, g77, gdb) - Standard GNU compiler suite
- Modules - Manages user environments
- Limulus cluster support tools including GUI and command line tools for adding users and managing node power, wwtop for cluster wide monitoring, and CPU utilities.
Software for Limulus Hadoop Systems
All Hadoop systems are installed with freely available versions of Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Zeppelin and more packages. Systems come turnkey ready to run with complete HDFS file system.
